The Gemini version of UKMARSBOT is designed for use with the various different processors. There are 4 boards in the set. A main chassis board, a mezzanine board and 2 sensor boards, one for line sensing and one for wall sensing. The main chassis board and the 2 sensor boards are common to all the different processors, but the mezzanine board is tailored to a specific processor board. The version described below has the mezzanine board designed for use with the Raspberry Pi Pico processor board. The Gemini version is not a replacement for the standard Arduino Nano based UKMARSBOT or Cytron Maker Nano version, but is primarily designed for boards with a different form factor to the Arduino Nano.
The menus on the right side of the page will take you through the build process, and will also provide you with circuit diagrams and some sample code. The build section is described on 5 pages:
- . A list of parts, with some details of potential suppliers that you could get them from
- How to populate the main chassis and mezzanine PCBs with the electronic components and connectors
- How to populate the line sensor board with it’s electronic components,
- How to populate the wall sensor board with it’s electronic components, and finally
- How to connect the PCBs and mechanical parts together to make the complete system
