GEMINI First Public Release

GEMINI is a new robot based around the solid design principles of UKMARSBOT while adding the power of the Raspberry Pi Pico preocessor to allow programming in MicroPython. Like the basic UKMARSBOT robot, this design is equally at home in the maze or on a line following track.. The 3 level design allows for alternative processor boards to be put on the top layer by just amending the top PCB.

THE RESULTS ARE IN

Following a great day of presentations on Saturday we had a full day of contests on Sunday 22 June at St Albans High School in Ipswich. Congratulations to everyone that entered robots.
For the first time we saw prototypes of the new UKMARS GEMINI robot platform running in contests, successfuly completing the line follower, pursuit, wall follower and maze solving challenges.

CONTEST AND DEMONSTRATIONS AT MEGACON MANCHESTER

We had a great day of contests on Saturday 27 July followed by a day of demonstrations on Sunday 28 July. As well as all the usual fun with the contests we enjoyed speaking with visitors to our stand and explaining what we do.

UKMARSBOT

A simple beginner’s multi purpose robot platform.

UKMARS are creating a basic robot design that can be used in a variety of common contests such as line following, wall following, drag race. The robot is constructed using inexpensive and readily available materials, components and techniques.
